Preserving and displaying items of historical significance related to Benson, the Benson Museum of Local History houses a collection of antiques, railroad memorabilia and quilts, as well as farming and hardware artifacts. The museum also displays a pictorial and newspaper collection that recounts the fascinating history of local and significant families. Along with the Benson Chamber of Commerce and Town Hall, the museum is located within the downtown Municipal Building.
